Here is what is going on and I will admit that I haven't had time to really trouble shoot yet but am very confused at what it might be.
I just started using a new zapco z150.4 for about 2 weeks or less now. I have it running for now an older set of alpine spx17pro components active. I replaced a JL 450/4 with the zapco and never had an issue. I live in Iowa and it is getting colder out, like 30's in the morning when I go out to start my 01 f350 crew cab dually diesel.
When the radio (pioneer 800prs) comes on, the speakers sound really cracky or almost statically. I thought that at first I might have blown my speakers. After a couple of minutes they just sound fine and normal. I didn't know if there was a way that the amp or speakers could sound bad cold and then get to normal? I checked the rcas and wiring on the amp and all is fine. I haven't pulled the deck out yet to make sure one that all of them are fine. It does it no matter if it's cd, xm, or fm source. I have never had anything like this happen.
Anyone have anything like this ever happen to them?
If it matters, I also have a zapco 1100m hooked up to 2 jl 8w3v3's and am using an ixos 5 farad digital cap basically as my amp distribution block. That is all of the equipment and ixos rcas too.
HELP PLEASE
