My C2K-2.5X has two options on the input:
Balanced / Unbalanced
4-16v / 1-4v
Obviously there is not even an unbalanced input on the thing; you have to use a Symbilink cable. I'm using a Symbilink-to-RCA Composite cable so technically the rca end is unbalanced but the cable claims to balance the signal by the time it reaches the amp? So what do I use with a Symbilink-to-RCA Composite cable, balanced or unbalanced??
I'm only using a crappy Pioneer DEH-1800 for the time being with no line driver so I assume use the 1-4v setting?? After all the Crutchfield specs says the pre-amp voltage is 2.2v
