I am putting together a sound system in my 03 Corolla. I need to get a sub, but I'm not sure which to get. I have done research and read reviews, but haven't been able to pinpoint one.
I listen to classic rock, country and a little rap every once in awhile. I'm looking to only take up minimal space towards the back of the trunk (towards the rear seats), so I'm thinking a sealed box so I can make a wedge style box. I'm also more into SQ over SPL, but would like some good thump when needed.
My truck had a Sundown E8 and sounded good in a ported box. I would like at least a single 10, if not a 12 this time since its sealed and in a trunk. Keeping a budget under $100 for a sub, should I go with an E10/12 or look at another brand? I have also had kicker before and liked them also (comp and cvr). I already have a kicker dx400.1 I would like to use.
Any suggestions?
