Manufacturers listen up!!!

I've dealt with manufacturers for years, talked with owners and some times they just don't get it. Sometimes when they design a product you have to ask yourself what the ?*&% were they thinking? Example for me is with Audio Control, love the performance of their stuff but now their equipment colors don't match. Can't buy an epicenter and a DEQ in the same color. Why the flip not? Who likes their amp rack that you just spent a week on building that looks perfect and now your equipment colors don't match? I know I'm anal and I shouldn't have to silk screen or chrome them if I don't want!! Also their RDAT hand control device. Can't remove the cord from it? No plug like say the Symmetry RDAt. They say it was to make the controller smaller. Really? Like what 3mm? I had to fabricate and install my own. Get this, I did it using the free space inside the controller!! Lol. Also where's a card reader in our aftermarket headunits? Wheres my HDD? I can put my entire collection of songs on a card or on a HDD. I have 2 new cars that have them. Why is Alpine, just to name one, behind on this? Aftermarket world is wondering where the business has gone, well your losing it to OEM. Car manufacturers have listened. To me the after market companies have put designers in charge of equipment and they have no install or real world experience. They have a degree from MIT in yada yada. Anyway some of this stuff may be out there in rare form but just wanted to vent some frustration with the market. Cause it it's out there, it's not at the level of production it should be at. I shouldn't look at OEM as having the latest greatest. I've spent 25 plus yrs in it and I feel this is just another reason for it's slow demise. Anyone else feel this way about anything or am I just flying solo?
