Dual Alpine R8 vs Dual Dayton HO10 both ported?

I wanna play with a ported subwoofer setup. The goals are (all very important):

1. Cheap ($200-250 a pair)
2. Killer SQ
3. Effortless loud sound
4. 700-900watt power handling per pair. Each sub should be wired for 4ohm impedance individually.
5. A relatively _compact_ box (1.5 cu ft or so internal overall tops, with port area included).

Based on requirements (1) and (5) I rejected subwoofers like Sundown SA-10 or HAT I10SW (too expensive per pair), as well as many others.

The R8 and HO10 model fantastic in WinISD for my requirements.

The R8 could be in a 1.1cu ft box tuned to about 33Hz, add or subtract a Hz.
The HO10 could be in a 1.2cu ft box tuned to about 33Hz, add or subtract a Hz. The sensitivity in model is about the same. Both hit about 115-116dBs in WinISD model on 800-900watts of power (that's outside of any cabin). The R8 do need a bit more excursion to get there, 13mm to about 8mm of Daytons at the peak. However, the R8s cost cheaper as it's possible to get each for $100. The R8s also have much lower inductance. What about SQ material (acoustic rock, etc). Which subwoofer pair stands to sound better overall?
