I have a dual head unit (nothing special, just a replacement for my stock one) in my 2000 focus se. I picked up a pair of 12" kickers in a sealed enclosure, with a kenwood kac-744 amp for $100. I believe the kickers are the dds line, but I'm not sure, being as I've never had them out of the enclosure. If they are, would you guys recommend a sealed enclosure for them or ported? For all the more the amp is made to put out they make some noise, but I'd like a little more and lower bass from this amp if possible, I turned the gain to about 3/4 of the way up, and the low pass filter on. If I can get more volume from a ported box I'd love to build one, just want some input first. Also, can I get away with good SQ with two separate boxes that are built to contour the area between the wheel wells and back of the trunk rather than one big ass box that takes up a lot of my center trunk space? And I think my final question, lol, can I run both subs off one set of terminals instead of two? What would this do? It's a "4 channel" amp that can be used as a component system amp, I just have the row labeled "A" utilized and have both a outputs wired up, one to each sub.
