I have a Scion FR-S and so far have just added the JBL MSBass PRo SQ powered sub, its pretty nice but as i knew from the start i would eventually have to upgrade the front stage. I've toyed with the idea of just replacing the stock speakers with some JBL 3.5's in the dash and power 6.5" mids in the doors.
What i really want to try though is the ZR800's in the doors using either the 450/4 or XD600/6 (bridge 4 channels for the ZR's) and a wideband in the dash with no subwoofer. Has anybody had good luck running the ZR's subless from say 50-500hz? I know i will lose a lot of lowend but i can always put a sub back in later.
