First off Here's what I've got:

1. alpine w535 (this I bought recently only because I had a problem with my w505...and thought that this would sound as good as it if not
better...which may not necessarily be the case...tell me what you think.)
2. Zapco c2k 4.0 used bridged for 8" Dynaudio midbass drivers in the door panels.
3. zapco c2k 4.0 two channels run stereo for Dynaudio md130 tweets in the a-pillars
the other two channels for Dynaudio 3" enclosed mids in kick panels.
4. Zapco 750.2 for a single jl 10w3 in a (down-firing) ported box under back seat.

Now, I used to have the w505 headunit used with this exact setup using an Alpine pxa-h701 processor
( and it sounded ok, but the w505 disc player failed and so I decided to get a different head unit all together.)
I'm concerned with SQ, but I also wanted a few of the bells and whistles like pandora, xm radio, bluetooth for phone etc, and USB capabilities, back up camera,, maybe. I know that I'll be giving up a lot of the sq, but trying within reason to get as best as possible.

The h701 started to give me some issues....so I'm in the "market" for- and taking any suggestions for a suitable headunit and processor. I"m liking the alpine h800. BUT HATING THE FACT THAT RCA'S ARE THE ONLY WAY TO CONNECT IT TO THE W535 that i have now. !!!! THAT SUCKS.
So, I would definitely consider changing that headunit.(if the w535, with the h800 using rca's) comes close to sounding like the w505+h701 using symbilink cables to rca's that i used to have i can possibly live with the w535.

Will I even be able to use my steering wheel controls ???
