GMOS-04 Install Help

Hey guys hopefully someone here can help. I currently have all the items to install my head unit in my 07 trailblazer and wanted to see if anyone ere has installed the GMOS-04 that retains the factory portion in GM vehicles? Any help or links would be great, thank you.
