I have a Orion XTR 500.2 and a XTR 900.2. i woudl like to change the input section op-amps, for a better ones, just to try to get a cleaner sound, and to experiment and learn, at the same time.
The current op-amps they have in the pre-amp section, are LM837N (JM042AL).

I used the Texas Instruments component web searching tool, and it finds this Op-amps with similar specs to mine. Audio - Audio Operational amplifier - LME49740 - TI.com
What do the experts in electronics think? Does this T.I. op-amp fit in the place of the current one in my amp, without making any change? Just by unsoldering the old one and soldering the new one?
