I just traded my 350z for a 10' Mazda 6. I left behind almost everything in the 350z including the 4 JL 6.5 coaxs and a 6 channel JL amp. I did take my one JL W6 in the stealth box. Since I am on a budge I just bought a Kenwood KAC 8105D and an amp kit, and will keep the stock HU and speakers until later. I do have an older clarion s560 eq which leads to my question. Since I am a adding just the sub I thought it may be helpful to install the eq just to control the sub in the front of the car. What do you guys think? I think I could order just a bass knob as well but I think this may work? Also, I believe I don't need a converter for the stock HU because of the amp, at least that what I was told but if this is incorrect any info would help.
