help finishing system midbass/front stage

I've done so much research on this topic and can't settle on what I should do so I would really like to figure out what's best for my system because I am so ready to just get everything in and be satisfied with not having to upgrade my car for a while.

I really want midbass back in my car that I lost a lot of when I changed subs. I am in the process of getting my plan together to buy everything I need to make this happen (deadener for the car and treating the front doors completely) and am stuck on this decision:

I either want to run a set of comps up front (decided on JBL MS comps) and put the tweeters in factory dash locations -- OR -- literally anything else that will give me loud enough midbass and good sq from midrange and up. But I would like to keep the install as stock looking as possible.

I would really just love to be easy about this and get the JBL comps, throw the whole amp at them and hope for the best. BUT, I have never heard a pair of door speakers produce the amount of bass that would be needed to match my subwoofer. I would love to be able to FEEL the midbass in my music, the way I was able to with previous subwoofers, and I refuse to spend money on anything for in my car unless it is resolving this issue.

I've spent enough money as it is just to keep being presented with another issue to fix so I just want this to be the last "fix" I have to make. [first sub VIBE Black Air 15: great midbass/bass, barely any sub bass. second subs RF P3 12's: decent midbass/bass, loud sub bass but lacked output on lows. third sub Obsidian OA18: nothing but loud below ~60hz] Now that I have the sub bass covered I will likely not change subwoofers for a long time, mostly because the obsidian is just so so sexy and loud on the lows, but getting it to play any higher bass is simply not an option.

I have never heard such punchy and tight upper bass from anything other than the vibe sub, and that was a 15 . It's hard to believe that a pair of 6.5s in doors will be able match this output, BUT that is exactly why I am posting this thread, because I really don't know and can't seem to find the information I want even after doing SO MUCH research.

I am content with the speakers I have now up front. I will only change my front stage if there is going to be a thoroughly significant enhancement in midbass output, the whole upgrade will be worth nothing to me if this doesn't happen. So could i try just amping (using rear two channels off 4chan amp) a pair of woofers in enclosures on either side of the sub in the back?

So please, will these comps provide enough bass to keep up with my sub in fully treated doors? Is there an alternative solution that meets my wants in the system that will be easier/better?

Open to all suggestions/opinions, just assume that I don't know anything if that helps.

Much thanks
