How many of you got tired of loud ass ported enclosures? I have had everything ported 2 12s, 1 15, 2 10s, 1 12 ported and they all sound the same, loud, boomy and with so so sound quality. I miss the days when I used to feel the bass in the late 80s and early 90s. Finally, today I went to a car audio shop and they let me take out my 2 10s ported out of the truck and model a sealed enclosure with 2 12 inch Boston Acoustic G2s for 45 minutes. It was pure musical bliss. The tight drum beats, low clean bass and bass that I can feel. I am burnt out on ported bass (even tuned in the 30s). I refuse to listen to anything else ported. The bass needs to be tight, clean, low and most of all musical. How many of you ever felt this way about bass?
