Zapco Line Driver modules - SLB-U /w Volume Knob, SLDIN adapter, XD-VFD display for 9.0, and XD-WRC controller knob
Zapco 9.0 -> 2 JL 12w7
Zapco 4.0 -> Boston Acoustics Z6
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and it won't work on the App Radio so I have a iPhone as a backup that I use for the App Radio 2 but it sounds terrible. I was recommended to get the HRT iStreamer which would sound a million times better than the AppRadio. Then I started to do some research and looks like the BitOne or Ten D would compliment the iStreamer. Then I looked at the Pure i20 /w remote. Seems as tho the iStreamer & i20 bypasses the iPhone DAC which the Audison BitTen would not? All these options, I just don't know! I just want the best SQ I can get for these components and what I have. I've been out of the Audio scene for at least 5 years so some advice would be hugely appreciated. Also realized I have a Zapco SX-SL Pre-amp/EQ I haven't used in forever that has a line-driver input/output, and wondered if that would be better than some of these or needed? All the audio installers in my city I've called just don't have the experience or knowledge to give me good advice on everything. I have room for a double-din... optionally 3 dins.
ps. I had a Kenwood double-din HU 5v before and it sounded 10x better than this AppRadio but I'd like to do away with the expensive over-priced double-dins out there and just use an iPad Mini or iPhone or even my Samsung S3!
