I have a diamond audio d612d4 12" subwoofer that I bought 4 years ago that I'm planning to use in my next install. I had it in a prefab box but it didn't sound that good. In my new install I've decided to go with a Kenwood xr1s (700 watts) to power it. My question is for you guys who has had this subwoofer before, would you guys go with sealed or ported enclosure? What tune? I'm trying to build a SQL system and mostly listen to reggae, rap, hip-hop.
