Last parts needed, midrange/midbass for my Silverado

So I have this 1996 Silverado king cab truck that I spend way too much time in. Was sick of the stock system so set myself a $400 budget and bought an entire system (already had a Pioneer deck). Bought MB Quart Onyx 6.5" components, MB Quart RLP254 10" sub, Quart Onyx mono block and Quart Onyx small two channel.
I was happy for a bit but Quart just ain't what it used to be.

So I have upgraded the deck to a new Pioneer DEH-8400BH (NIB for $60) and also changed the sub and box out for a 12" Infinity SSI (at 2 ohms). Both helped the sound tremendously but the highs are still annoying and mid bass is crap.
My amp is 60 watts RMS at 4ohms BTW.

So I figured since I love the new sub and deck that I should get something I really like for the front stage. Almost won a set of Boston Pro 6.5 components and I have always loved Boston mids but lost out at the last second.

Now I just bought a set of Infinity Kappa EMIT-K ribbon tweeters with x-overs. Had them before and to this day have yet to find a sweeter sounding tweeter. Now I have to get a mid bass to match. For now the mid bass will have to roll off naturally on the upper end untill I can upgrade to a 4 channel amp (really want a McIntosh) and active x-over it. I believe the Infinity x-over is at 4 or 4.5K with a 24db rolloff.

So I am torn between three mids and wanted input. First off I have no idea how much depth the doors can take for the 6.5 so that may be a factor here.
Some will laugh at the three different choices I have but I have heard two and like them but was told (reading on this forum) that the Hertz are supposed to be kick arse.

Choices are:
Boston Acoustics 6.5lf
Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.5
Hertz ML 1600

The Infinitys are double the cost of the Bostons and the Hertz are double again what the Infinitys are and more than I wanted to spend but if the ML 1600s are really great I will pony up the extra coin.

I listen to mostly classic rock, current rock, 80's and sometimes for whatever reason I get in a mood to hear current top charts crap. The sub is very tight and seems to have fast attack and decay and I know the EMIT-K tweeters are crisp and detailed so I want the midbass to be as good or better.

So what say the pros? Also does anyone know if the 96 Silverado can hold a 3" deep midrange? My Onyx mids are kinda mounted in the factory speakers basket so I could keep them closer to the inner panel opening but I can get an MDF ring for the other speakers. I also plan on heavily sound deadening the doors for the new drivers.
