Negative post on capacitor came loose, will it still work?

I have a Planet Audio 3.5 farad capacitor, I haven't used it yet, but while I was tightening the negative post to secure the ground wire, the post started turning and wiggling.. I don't know if the connection is still good, but I want to go ahead up plug it into the battery, but I thought I would get some of your thoughts on the matter.

Is there any danger of destroying any of my equipment if I go through with the install anyway?
