I know we spend a lot of time dampening, sealing, etc. for midbass, but what kinds of treatments are recommended for tweeters? This is one area I neglected in my install because I haven't read much about what's helpful or required.
In particular, my tweeters are installed behind the type of sail panel you see attached. I've EQ'ed out some harshness in the 2K - 6K range and boosted 10K on up, but I can't help but think the sail panel is causing reflections and filtering of frequencies that should be better controlled. Nothing behind the sail panel but the steel of the door. I've angled the tweeters to give me what I believe is the best image, but that's about it.
Other than installing the tweeters differently, any recommended treatments (foam behind the speaker, etc.)?
