i've made a sub box, and trying to save space and not totally destroy the interior i made some of it hidden behind the interior trim, and the remainer on the outside of the trim connected by a passage way.
when i first started reading about sub boxes, i read that shape dosent matter, so i went at it. then i later read that shape dosent matter unless you have basically 2 boxes connected via a port.....which is basically what i've done.
so now i\m wondering if i need to redo the box or just start over, or if it would work.
the sub calls for a 1.25 cubic feet, mine is just slightly over. the hidden portion is about 45% of the volume, the exposed portion about 55%. the connecting tube is about 5 inches wide, 13 inches tall and 3 inches long. i'm planning on putting in a JLaudio 12W3v3. any hope it'll work out well?
