like the title says... i need a cheap 8 inch sub.
requirements are it needs to work well with around 200 watts RMS. loud is good... sound quality, not all that important. would still like the Fs to be around 40 Hz or less... but more important, is high sensitivity. also, the biggest box that can be used, is around .45 cu/ft. would love to be ported, but due to the size limits, i know i may not be able to.
but... the most important thing, is i would like it to be under $50.
i do know all about the high end subs. have used quite a few in fact. but i know nothing about cheap stuff, and searching here and the internet is frustrating when looking for cheap stuff.
but this one needs to be really cheap, and work well with around 200 RMS.
explanation: this is for my kids Chevy Silverado Powerwheel... not for a car. it blew apart the Rockford Fosgate 8 inch sub, so need a cheap replacement. it has 36 amp/hrs of deep cycle battery power available, so big wattage amps are not an option... if it was, i have about 50 of them. :D but i do also have multiple very efficient amps around 200 watts RMS that i can use. currently, there is a JL Audio 250/1 in there, but that can be changed out with many others.
any suggestions ? your experience with them ?
