Time alignment and windows

Hey guys, Ive been wondering for some time now.
how do you deal with the noise that comes off the windows for time alignment?

I did the calculations with distance, but its still not right to the ear. Thats because the left sound bounces off the right window and vice versa. it sounds messy!
without keeping windows open, do you guys have a different technique to prevent this?
(one of my windows is broken, and the wind takes away from the sound)
