I have my tweeter pods temporarily mounted in my kick panels since I have such a steep windshield and a dashboard with no depth. On the drivers side there is a pedal style e-brake which I am half way through my retrofit center console with hand brake but one of my brake lines failed on a very steep driveway and I kicked my e-brake so hard it overextended into the tweeter...but it was to save a rare Jeep from being T-boned!

Damage seems to be only the grill and it came with spare's!!

I was happy when I removed the grill to see this cross bar which is extremely durable it did not even bend it stopped the grill, if it bent I can barley tell maybe a thousands...the flexible foam edge speakers have is flat on these:
