Hey all. Name's Carl.
I'm relatively new to car audio. I have a couple of questions on how to get the most out of my set up. I have kind of been handed down many of these things and I think I have an okay sounding system in 2003 Bonneville. However I am looking for a bit more bass, and some more headroom as well. Clarity is always a plus too. Bear with me here.. It's really kind of a mess, but it was all free.
I have my stock head unit which is running into this amp via a Scosche 4 channel line out converter:
Hitron HPA400.4 (hpa4004) 400W Max, Pro Series 4-Channel
My rear speakers are these Pioneer 5 way 6X9's.
Pioneer TS-A6994R (TSA6994R) 6" x 9" 600W 3-Way Car Speakers
My front door speakers are the 6.5 inch Polks from this component system. Only the woofers mind you, I did not receive the tweeters nor the crossover.
Polk Audio DXi6500 6-1/2" component speaker system at Crutchfield.com
My tweeters are the tweeters from this Pioneer component system.
Pioneer TS-A1604C (TSA1604C) 6.5" 2-Way Component Speaker System
I also have one of these Legacy subs laying around which is not hooked up yet. I am also wondering if there's a way to run this sub on my amp.
Newegg.com - Legacy - 10'' 600 Watt Legacy ''L'' Series Subwoofer
Any and all help would be appreciated. I don't have much of a budget. So I'm trying to make the most out of all this stuff. Thanks in advance.
