Would 1000 watts for a 12 inch JL W6v3 be overkill? Obviously the gain would have to be set correctly. I am currently pushing 500 watts and it is really loud but I read on a few different sites that it can handle a lot more than the 600 watts its rated at. I am not looking to push it to its limits but instead get the max out of it at a reasonably/somewhat safe setting. Please reply only if you've had experience with W6v3 and thanks for reading.
