Chad the "old" newb.

Hi all, new member here:

I've been dabbling in DIY car audio since high-shool (circa 1987) and have put togeather a number of systems for various cars I have owned. I'm looking to get up to speed on some of the latest tricks. With my newest car (2013 VW GTI), I'm contiplating a Windows PC based audio system.

I probably won't have much usefull advise for anyone, but will be doing a lot of searches and hope to get some good advice as I plan my latest project.
