Class D amp causing EMI intrusion check engine light to come on

Is this even possible? this morning I got a flashing check engine light, mechanic says they see an EMI intrusion code and that the cause would be from the stereo. I know Class D amps are known for high EMI fkn up radio reception.

Any thoughts on it affecting other engine electronics?
