Hi Guys!
Brand new to this forum.........can't wait to start learning from some of the best minds out there. I have a setup that I'd like to run by you guys:
I have a 270-amp DC Power High Output alternator that I'm about to install in my 2006 F-350 diesel truck. The truck comes stock with 2 batteries wired in a parallel connection. I have done the Big 3 Upgrade using 1/0 AWG cables . As it stands right now, I still have the oem alternator (110-amp) in place, but the new DC Power unit is going in day after tomorrow.
Here's my question: Most Big Three upgrades describe a process with only one battery--------my truck has two. I took the liberty of doing the upgrade to BOTH batteries. I have included some pics of my setup :)
Though it might be a little overkill, do my connections from alternator to batteries appear sound? Will I encounter any problems running it this way??
I'd love to hear what you guys think ;)
