Dayton Midbass ?

I have a 2001 Volvo s40, and fitting a 6.5" midbass in the door will take more fab work than I am willing to do. It would be easier to make kicks.

I am going to be running 3 way active (XT25's in the dash and 12HF's IB), and I am wondering if I would get better results with a RS180 in tiny sealed kickpanels, or RS150 in a droperly deadened & sealed door.

I do want good midbass, but because of the way the door panel is on this car, it would take some serious fabrication to fit a 6.5. The doors are already dampened & sealed, so the 150's would be a drop in & go. If the reward is worth it, I could make some kicks for the 180's, but they would be really small..

Is there a better 5"-6" speaker I should consider? I have less than 2.75" of depth to work with in the door.

What would you do?
