Folks - I have decided to go with a slightly different configuration (rackmount) instead of this, and the motherboard in this one is not gonna fit in the new rackmount case. I could dismantle it and sell the parts but if somebody is interested, they can have it like this.
Product Brand & Model:
Custom made carPC.
Configuration:
Motherboard - EVGA X58 3-Way SLI LGA 1366 Motherboard(132-BL-E758-TR)
CPU - Intel i7 Quad Core 920 (8M Cache, 2.66 GHz)
CPU heatsink - Scythe Shuriken low profile heatpipe heatsink with 100mm fan
RAM - 8GB DDR 1333
HDD - 2.5" 500GB 7200rpm
Video card - I have an older ATI x300 card installed in it currently (since this was for my BMW which only needs 800x480, and this was plenty for that.) I'll throw in a newer PCI_E x16 ATI 5450 passive card as well (both will come with the PC). You can choose which one to install. The PCI-E x16 riser is already installed. The benefit of the x300 is that it works with Windows 7 and can support custom resolutions down to 480 interlaced.
Sound card - There is a Delta 1010lt in there, which is an amazing card. It'll come with the external connectors and cables. The card is installed using a flex PCI riser. This is an 8in/8out channel card...:)
Power supplies - It has TWO, an M4-ATX and an M2-ATX. :) They are wired, so that when the M4-ATX comes on, the M2-ATX comes on as well. The M4-ATX powers the system, and the M2-ATX can be used for external accessories.
Case - A Silverstone LC02 case that was modified for custom cooling. (FOUR 120mm silent fans cool the system). The case is enclosed in a custom MDF enclosure with brackets already installed on the "sides" to screw the whole thing down on a false floor or elsewhere. (See the pics, you'll understand). The enclosure is wrapped in black breathable carpet and is designed to suck in air from the side (when vertical) and vent from the top. Under the carpet, it has Home depot grill installed on the vents.
There's some customizations to the case, which include installing an indicator panel and a serial port (for an HD radio or anything else).
Condition of all items:
I would love to call everything "new" since it hasn't been used other than for building and testing (The carpc is installed in my car, but not hooked up. I haven't completed the rest of the system yet. :() , but that's your call. I'll call it "relatively" new.
Total Price: :
The cost of a custom system like this is...well...in the eyes of the beholder. Just the components themselves are well north of $1250 and the construction time is worth way more than that.
I'm offering it at $1,000 shipped anywhere in the 48 states. Paypal is fine. $30 discount if paying cash and picking up locally. (Germantown, MD)
Shipping Terms: :
Free ground or freight shipping, whichever is cheaper.

The way it looks in the car right now.

Additional info:
Everything works perfectly. The system boots very quickly and stays quite cool. I had no intention of selling this, given the time I put into it, but I really want to move to that rackmount configuration.
