Hi, I'm pretty sure the 6.5 speaker that comes with the focal utopia 3 way set is classified as a midbass speaker and not a midrange. Just wanted to check with everybody here to confirm this. I would think the smaller 4 inch speaker would be the midrange. Also I swapped out the 6.5 focal utopia woofer for the seas lotus RW165/1 woofer to obtain a better snare drum snap in pop music like for example the song "blinded me by science".But now it seams like my rock and heavy metal sound kinda sterile with music like Metallica "Hit the lights and Anthrax "Time". What are peoples recommendations on a 6.5 woofer that can really produce a snare drum snap like the seas lotus does for blinded me with science,But yet give a full sound to rock n roll, and heavy metal .Like the songs I have mentioned above.
