anyways i have a98 nissan maxima 30G....has the infiniti shape but basic maxima stuff inside.
its a VQ30DE engine....and a 110amp alternator....at least i think its that much.
The altenator went three days ago and of course the mechanic and electrical specialist will blame it on my sound system.
here is what is inside the CAR.
BASS
mmats d200 with along with 2 MTX 12s single coils wired in series for 8 ohm
MIDS AND HIGHS
2 mb quarts tweeters in the doors, 2 pyle pro bullets on the A pillars in TANK FLOATS and 2 audiopipe bullet tweeters on the backdash
2 eminence alphas on the backdash and 2 in the doors.
Everything is wired in 4 ohms or 8 ohms per channel to ensure quality and less current draw.
Ive always wanted to upgrade my alternator but sometimes 250-300US doesnt grow on my money tree, but for my passion i might just spend it.
its a daily driver and plan to keep it for a long time so i would like to either get the high output alternator 250amps hopefully . if yes to this option where is the best place to buy it and who has the best warranty?
OR
buy the stock alternator, keep my stock battery and buy an additional deep cycle to run the system separately.........i dont mind charging it every day or every two days.
whats seems like a more sensible plan in terms of keeping the car good electrically and stil decent on the pocket.
In the future i would like to get a zed audio amplifier, class D full range.
