I'm thinking about putting a tablet (ipad) in my factory 99-04 Mustang double din location. What's the best or easiest way to go about this so it looks nice?

Looking to buy a Helix SPXL Subwoofer hoping I can find one here. New to the forums but looking for an older speaker. Hopefully someone has one in good condition. I've got a couple things to sell down the line but thought I'd start here with this. Thanks for reading my post.

Had a little recreational back surgey...

As some of you might remember, I was all hobbled up at Jasons GTG in May. Well, last Thursday, I finally had surgery to open up the spinal canal between my L3 & L4 lumbar releasing the pressure on my nerves.

Good news: I can stand straighter now
Bad new: I was in no way prepared for the amount of pain I'd be in... and the oxy an muscle relaxants barely put a dent in it :(

I've seen all the commercials about the 1.5 in incision and your up and at 'em the same day... bull$hit! I have absolutely no core strength after 3 days, and while I'm sure I'll bounce back, it's hard to feel optimistic at the moment.

Anyway, just thought I whine a little bit...

So, this is a weird one...

I've now put my summer car back on the road and it's going to be my 'nice weather' daily driver. It's a 1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe (attaching pic of car and relevant interior locations).

My goal is to have a great-sounding system while retaining the stock appearance as much as possible and not doing any long-term damage to the car (cutting/drilling interior pieces, etc). Parts are hard to find for this car, so until I do come across some extras I don't want to chop anything up.

The car has 6.5" speakers in the doors (perfect), and 3.5" in the dash, but the dash is weirdly shaped so the driver side dash speaker points up, while the passenger side speaker is angled down slightly toward the passenger. This might make for weird imaging if I used the space for large format tweeters (but I'm not an expert on this at all).

In addition, I have a very limited budget. But I do have a bunch of stuff I collected over the years when it became available, either locally, from this forum, or from cars I no longer own.

HUs and processors:
Denon DCT100 (impulse buy but cool)
Alpine CDA-9887
JBL MS-8

Amps:
Kenwood Excelon X400.4 (class D, 75x4 @ 4ohm, 100x4 @ 2ohm)
Kenwood... some really old thing that still works well (35x4 @4, 50x4 @ 2)
Kaption 80.2 (80x2 @4, 125x2 @2, 250x1 @1) - this is a local brand but doesn't make junk, I've heard it's a Zed design but don't know much else
Memphis MC-1001D (300x1 @4, 600x1 @2, 1100x1 @1)
Cadence A5+HC (300x1 @4, 600x1 @2)

Drivers:
JBL GTO650C 6.5" components - Sort of JBL's entry level components, interesting as they are 2 ohm mids and 3 ohm tweets
Kicker Reference CS 5.25 components - bought from a friend who stored them 10+ years, these things are absolute beasts
ID OEM 6.5s
Tang Band 1" ceramic coated tweets - neat looking little things but power handling is pretty low, I think around 10W RMS, they're 8 ohm drivers
A literal pile of coaxials of various shapes and sizes - 6.5", 3.5", 5.25", 6x8"
JBL GTO 10" subs (old but decent)
Diamond D12D6 (12", 600W RMS handling, dual 4 ohm coils)
2 Memphis HPO 12", 500W RMS handling, dual 4 ohm)

Gotchas:
Car has a 75A alternator. An upgrade to a 130A is in its future, but not in the budget just yet. This means I can't really use a pile of equipment.

So, if you had this pile of stuff sitting around, what would you use? Small purchases might be possible, but I can't sink a bunch of cash into it likely for another couple years.

Thanks!

Best Generic MLV

So after using CLD tiles on my doors I want to go the next step and add MLV and Closed Cell Foam. I'll probably pick up the CCF from Resonix but what is the best bang for the buck on MLV? I've seen a bunch of stuff on Amazon for cheap and then there's places like Second Skin. I've heard some of it can be very difficult to use and other stuff is much easier. I'm looking to do 4 doors in an Audi A3. At this time, I'm not likely to pull up carpet as that area of the car seems to be very good already, however I might do the sides of the trunk and under the rear seat.

Shallow Sub options

Trying to figure out which subs would work in my 05 Mini Cooper S. Trying to keep what limited trunk space I have. Integral Audio makes a phantom box using an SB Acoustic 10". If I follow their basic design I have about 5.5-6 inches of total height from bare floor to the false floor. Looking for something that will sound good overall playing rock/hard rock music at a level that blends with the rest of the stereo as I'm not a bass freak I just want clear matched levels.

So far I've seen reviews that would say the Pioneer, JL and Alpine are good choices.
Pioneer TS-SW2002D2 8"
Alpine SWR-T10 10"
JL 10TW3 10"

Alpine seemed pricey unless that's actually worth it, Pioneer seemed too inexpensive, JL pricing seemed what I would expect.

What' other quality choices are out there?

SAE 1100.5 question

In an effort to save space for a ton of stuff I have going on in my trunk, I have purchased an SAE 1100.5. My question is( probably stupid), I run active using the amps crossover points and my EQ in my head unit. Can I still accomplish that with this amplifier without having to use external crossovers? Tweeters on front 1 and 2, mids on 3 and 4, with the amps crossovers? next My final load for my subs will be 2 ohms, but my mids and highs are 4. Is that going to be ok? Thank you.

For sale are two amplifiers. A JBL MS-A1004 multi channel 4 channel amplifier with DSP controls. Also included in the sale is a JBL MS-A5001 mono subwoofer amplifier. Both are in good working condition with some minor marks from a previous installation. I am including the original box and installation manual for the mono amp along with the setup disc. I also have the JBL MS-WBC wireless bass knob and wired power pigtail. Everything seen in the pictures is included.

These were pulled from a working system and everything was working fine. I sold the car and pulled the equipment prior to selling it.

Product Brand & Model:

1) A used set of si tm65 mki. Condition 6/10.
One speaker has a small rip in the surround and the other one has the terminal post issue. I have the original boxes. See photos for details. I've been using them until this week when I put in the mkiii's. The glue/foam on the outside that you see in the pictures was from fast rings.

2) A used set of image dynamic xs-28 tweeters. They both have a small dent in the domes but play fine. Again I've been using them until this week when I put in si m25's.

3) a brand new set of install bay 6x9 fast rings.

4) I have a 360.3 dsp that powers up but won't go through the setup process. Rockford support said something is messed up when I called and spoke to them but I never sent it in to get repaired. I have the original box and if you want to mess with it can be yours for the price of shipping.

Additional info:

Would consider a trade for a decent smaller form factor 4 channel amp. Would prefer alpine pdx-f4 or f6 to match my v9. Mounting size is a big factor.
