A while back I was listening to music at low volume and the sound cut out. Finally had time to figure out what happened and it seems my Audison lrx 2.9 blew (internal fuse blown and new fuse blows as soon as it is turned on). One of my Dynaudio 172s is also blown (was hooked to 2.9). The rest of the speakers had cut off because the remote is fed from the 2.9 to the VRX 4.3 which powers the Dyn 142s and 102s.
No idea why it blew, as I heard nothing.
I am thinking of replacing the 172s with HAT L8V2s. Would the 142s and 102s work with the L8V2s?
I would have to redo the doors for the HATs but wanted to go flush mount with outer door panel anyways.

You Can see why flush would work better. But will have to build up inner door and cut outer so sort of a PITA for my noob ass:

I also have to move the mids to kicks as they are mounted in the A/C ducts which is clearly not ideal (facing forward).

Only hard part is the fuse box is located on DS kick. People have pushed it back on the Mazda6 so assume that is what I would have to do:

Then I will need to figure out what to power the HATs with. A working LRx 2.9 would be good or if I could find a vrx 2.400 I probably need to get something more affordable but have very limited space but for now anything that would work and fit as I could easily upgraded later if needed.
But, because I am broke I should also look at another option to replace the 172s with ? and throw in an cheap amp to power them just to get my system going as I am driving 100mi a day and silence is getting old. But I could just get a speaker for my phone to hold me over as Ive been doing the drive in silence for over 6 months (yes it has taken me this long to diagnose why my stereo died and now everything is out of warrantee, I stupid I know).
I may send out the 2.9 for repair but it may not be worth it. I am also worried that if I keep the MS8 I may be throwing money away as I do not know if it had anything to do with the blown amps/speaker. I was never able to get the MS8 to send out sub audio even thou I could get a good sub test and calibration signal so I always thought something was wrong with it but was told that it was user error... No idea...
